QR Codes
This service is automated so that you will receive your QR code images in 5 minutes.
Decide how many QR codes you need and add that quantity to the cart. Then, at the checkout page, enter the data or URL you want encoded into the “additional information” box, with separate URLs on separate lines. Standard QR codes (Static and Dynamic) are immediately emailed to you. More complex QR codes, e.g., v-business cards, are made manually and take 1-12 hours.
The QR code images will be sent to you in 3 formats: .tif, .bmp, .jpg, .pdf, and .eps.

DYNAMIC QR Codes
- Encodes via a host link URL to land on your URL, e.g. https://myqr.pro/1234, which directs immediately to your target URL https://yourwebsite.com/sale
- Functions for life: It will function for the first two years and continue to function if you pay a hosting fee every two years.
- FREE unlimited redirection of the target URL: When you make an initial purchase, you specify a target URL. After that, you can redirect your dynamic QR code via our website portal anytime, day or night.
- Unlimited scans are available so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems, such as crashed servers. Please see our fair use policy.
- $40 gets you two years of tracking. Tracking shows how often and in which country your QR code is scanned. To learn more about tracking, please see TRACKING REPORTS.
- Dynamic QR codes are ideal for changing the target URL for links to technical reports, marketing promotions, competitions, or new listings.
STATIC QR Codes
- Encode your URL directly in the QR code, e.g. https://yourwebsite.com
- Permanent, meaning they will work as long as your website URL doesn’t change
- It cannot be redirected as the URL is encoded directly into the QR Code
- Unlimited scans
- We cannot provide tracking data on static QR codes

It depends on how much data is encoded. It can be smaller if it is a short URL or a small amount of data. If the QR code contains much data, it may need to be printed larger. The official minimum size is 2cm by 2cm. Always test before you go to print.
Static codes will always scan to the URL encoded. If the URL is down, there is nothing to find for the static QR code. Dynamic QR codes will always scan as long as the two-year hosting fee ($30) is paid and the final URL is live.
